Across the street from the train station, this hotel is super convenient. Simply walk down the hill and across the river to enter the historic town. They have a10%off deal with the Italian restaurant downstairs, which is tasty and welcoming. Staff are super friendly and always ready to help. €8 buffet breakfast each morning kept me full and happy. The room was warm and spacious. Simple, but with a TV, desk, hanging space for coat & clothes, a comfy bed and a good sized bathroom. Which even had body wash in a nice big pump back - hooray for no small bottles creating waste! Great value for money.

The proximity of the trains and restaurants . The personal of the hôtel was very attentive and reactive ,they were very available when i 'd met a personal problem . Though i don't expect,so i"m going toi give a +++++ toi m'y stay at Ibis budget Besançon centre gare.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast sufficient. It was very quiet because we had a room in the yard.

Love how the property was right outside the Viotte station. The signorizza restaurant right below aswell as buses and tram right outside. The town was also a 20mins walk and everything within reach. I would definitely be staying here again !

Excellent location right in front of the train station, spacious room, friendly and helpful staffs. We were allowed to leave luggages before check in time after after check out which made us travel easily.

It was very close to the station which was handy as we had very heavy luggage after my daughter’s year abroad! Room was reasonably spacious.

Like every Ibis we've stayed at, this was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet, which was surprising as it is opposite the railway station. The breakfast was also very good.

I’m in and out of Besançon on business and need a quick and clean hotel by the Viotte train station. This fills the bill perfectly. In Ibis style the rooms are bare, but they’re warm and have a good shower. My most recent room also had a nice view of the city. You can’t beat the price, and the breakfast is inexpensive and good. It’s a pleasant, 15-20 minute walk to the center city.
